Firmora’s unique story starts in a very typical way. Young man leaves the Midwest to go to college (Tulane University). Young man falls in love with New Orleans’ food, music, architecture and people. Young man decides to make a home in this beautiful place where you can always get red beans on Monday and ladies who don’t know you will say “Hey my baaaby”.
After graduating with a Masters of Architecture & studying historic preservation, Mike Ballard worked under the mentorship of John T. Campo, Jr. AIA NCARB at Campo Architects. For over 10 years, he developed skills to empathetically listen to client needs and provide value throughout each phase of a project.
Those skill are used daily to carry out Firmora’s mission to help property owners, real estate developers and design professionals through design, permitting & construction. We aim to simplify the process whether you need permit drawings for your addition, help with your code enforcement violations or historic tax credits for your renovation.
